1. About these terms

These terms govern every purchase from, and use of, morabelco.com (the "site"), operated by Morabel Pty Ltd (ABN 52 693 507 452) of 108D Albert Street, Osborne Park WA 6017 ("Morabel", "we", "us"). By placing an order, starting a subscription or using the site you agree to them, together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where these terms and the law differ, the law wins.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding contract to buy from us. We sell and ship within Australia only.

You can check out as a guest or with a customer account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account, and for making sure the name, address, email and phone number you give us are accurate, since we use them to deliver orders and send subscription notices. Tell us promptly if your details change or you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

3. Products

What we sell. The Morabel Shower Head+ is a shower head with a replaceable five-stage filtration cartridge in the handle, available in Silver and Black, and the Shower Head+ refill capsule is the replacement cartridge for it. Every Shower Head+ ships with its first cartridge installed.

Certifications. The Shower Head+ is WaterMark certified to AS/NZS 3662 under licence WM-032533 and registered under the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards scheme with a 3-star rating at a regulated 8.0 L/min (registration S50285 Black, S50284 Silver). WaterMark certification covers the product as a shower head; it is not a certification of filtration performance, and the Shower Head+ is not certified as a water-treatment device.

Filtration claims. Our chlorine-reduction figures come from independent laboratory testing by SGS to the NSF/ANSI 177 test method, under laboratory conditions described on our testing page. They are test results, not an NSF certification, and real-world performance varies with water chemistry, temperature, pressure, flow and household use. The Shower Head+ is not a water softener, does not remove dissolved minerals, and is not a drinking-water treatment device. The filter media is used up over time; we recommend a fresh cartridge every three months, sooner in a busy household.

Compatibility. The Shower Head+ fits a standard ½″ BSP wall arm and is designed for mains-pressure systems between 150 and 500 kPa at water temperatures of 2–55 °C. It may not suit gravity-fed, low-pressure or instantaneous hot-water systems, or showers fed through a tempering or thermostatic mixing valve. It is your responsibility to check suitability before ordering; we are happy to help if you contact us first.

Descriptions and images. We take care to describe products accurately, but some images are renders and finishes may differ slightly on screen. The body of the Shower Head+ is ABS plastic in a chrome or black finish with a metal connector. If something is materially different from its description, your consumer guarantees apply and you can return it.

4. Orders, pricing and payment

Placing an order. Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send a shipping confirmation; before then we may decline or cancel an order, for example where stock has run out, a price or description was shown in error, payment fails or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after payment, we refund in full within five business days.

Prices. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. The price shown at checkout at the time you order is the price you pay; shipping is free on Standard delivery and shown separately for Express. We can change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already accepted (subscription pricing is covered in section 5). Where an obvious pricing error has occurred, we will contact you to confirm at the correct price or cancel and refund.

Payment. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, including major cards through Shopify Payments, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. Payment is taken when you place the order, or when each subscription renewal is created. You confirm you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.

Discount codes. One code per order unless we say otherwise. Codes cannot be applied after an order is placed, exchanged for cash, or combined with subscription pricing unless the offer says so.

How it works. Choosing Subscribe & save on the Shower Head+ means you pay the subscription price shown at checkout (currently AUD $129) for the Shower Head+ with its first cartridge installed, and then one refill capsule is automatically ordered and charged to your saved payment method every three months at the refill subscription price shown at checkout (currently AUD $60), shipped free. The first refill is charged and sent three months after your original order. You can also subscribe to the refill capsule on its own at the same three-month cycle. The subscription continues until you cancel it.

Your authorisation. By starting a subscription you authorise us, through our subscription provider Skio and Shopify, to charge your saved payment method for each renewal on the renewal date without further confirmation from you, and to update stored card details through your card provider's account-updater service if your card is reissued.

Renewal notices. We email you before each renewal, to the address on your account, so you have time to skip or make changes. We also send a confirmation when each renewal order is placed and when it ships.

Skipping, pausing, changing and cancelling. You can skip a delivery, pause, change the address or payment method, or cancel at any time, with no minimum term and no cancellation fee, through the Manage subscription link in the site footer or in your customer account, or by emailing support@morabelco.com. Changes take effect from the next renewal: a renewal that has already been charged will be shipped and can be returned under section 7 if unopened.

Price changes. If we change the refill subscription price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to your subscription. If you do not want the new price, cancel before your next renewal and you will not be charged it.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we will retry over the following days and email you to update your payment method. If payment still cannot be taken, the renewal is cancelled and the subscription may be paused until you update your details. No refill ships until payment succeeds.

Subscription pricing. The subscription prices apply only while a subscription is active. If you cancel, future refills are available at the one-time price; we do not claw back the discount on the Shower Head+ already purchased.

6. Shipping and delivery

We ship Australia-wide from Perth with Australia Post. Standard delivery is free and typically takes 3–7 business days after dispatch; Express is AUD $15 and typically 1–3 business days. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 business days, and you receive a tracking number by email when they ship. Delivery times are estimates and can be affected by carrier delays, remote locations or events outside our control.

Please check your delivery address at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because the address was wrong or it was not collected, we will contact you and may charge the cost of re-sending it. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us; if a tracked parcel is confirmed lost in transit, we will replace it or refund you.

7. Change of mind returns

You can return a Shower Head+ or an unopened refill capsule within 30 days of delivery for a refund if it is unused and in its original packaging. Email support@morabelco.com with your order number for return instructions; return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty. We refund to the original payment method within five business days of receiving and checking the item. Opened refill capsules cannot be returned for change of mind for hygiene reasons. Full details are in our Refund Policy, which applies to every order.

8. Warranty and consumer guarantees

Consumer guarantees. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Morabel 12-month warranty. In addition to those guarantees, Morabel warrants the Shower Head+ against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of delivery, when installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual on a suitable water system (section 3). If a defect appears in that period we will, at our option, repair or replace the product or refund the price, and we will cover the cost of returning it to us. The refill capsule is a consumable with a recommended three-month life and is covered against defects on arrival only.

What the warranty does not cover. Normal wear, filter media that has reached the end of its life, damage from incorrect installation, use outside the stated pressure and temperature range, use with gravity-fed, low-pressure or instantaneous systems or tempering valves, chemical cleaners, freezing, dropping, or modification of the product.

How to claim. Email support@morabelco.com with your order number, a description of the fault and a photo or short video. We respond within two business days and will tell you whether to return the product (at our cost) or whether we can resolve it from the photos. This warranty is given by Morabel Pty Ltd, 108D Albert Street, Osborne Park WA 6017, support@morabelco.com, and the benefits it gives are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under law.

9. Installation and safe use

The Shower Head+ is designed to be fitted by hand to a standard wall arm without tools: remove the old head, fit the Shower Head+ with the supplied seal, hand-tighten, and run warm water for one to two minutes to flush the new cartridge before showering. Follow the instruction manual and the markings on the packaging, which state the suitable water systems and the pressure and temperature range.

If you are unsure whether your plumbing is suitable, or if your installation involves anything other than a standard wall arm, contact us before ordering or use a licensed plumber. We are not responsible for damage caused by installation contrary to the manual, by over-tightening, or by use on an unsuitable system, though your consumer guarantees are unaffected. Replace the cartridge every three months, or sooner if flow drops or the water changes, and do not attempt to open or refill a used capsule.

10. Promotions, wholesale, intellectual property and website use

Promotions. Promotional offers run for the period and on the conditions stated with the offer. We may withdraw or change a promotion where it has been published in error or is being misused.

Wholesale. Trade and wholesale purchases are made under separate written terms agreed when a wholesale application is approved. These consumer terms do not apply to wholesale accounts except where stated.

Intellectual property. The Morabel name and logo, the Shower Head+ name, and all content on the site (text, images, renders, video, test summaries and design) are owned by or licensed to Morabel. You may view and share site content for personal, non-commercial purposes, but may not copy, modify, sell or republish it, or use our name or branding, without our written permission.

Using the site. You agree not to misuse the site: no attempts to gain unauthorised access, scrape data, place fraudulent orders, abuse discount codes or interfere with how the site runs. We may suspend access or refuse orders where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached. The site may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or reasons outside our control, and links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only; we are not responsible for their content.

Reviews and content you submit. If you send us a review, photo or testimonial, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in our marketing, with your first name, and you confirm it is honest and your own. Ask us at any time to remove it and we will.

11. Liability, privacy, changes and law

Liability. To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our liability for any loss arising from a purchase or from use of the site is limited to the price you paid for the products concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as plumbing damage caused by installation contrary to the manual, or loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Privacy. We handle your personal information under our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, the services we share it with (including Shopify, Skio, Klaviyo and Australia Post) and your rights.

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you place an order applies to that order. For active subscriptions, we will email you about any change that affects your subscription at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you can cancel before then if you do not agree.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@morabelco.com; most issues are resolved within a few days.
